Beauty photography lives on detail most cameras miss. The way light sits on skin, how a colour reads true, the moment an expression stops looking posed. That is the part a brand is paying for when the image has to sell a campaign.

I'm a beauty campaign photographer for cosmetics, skincare and fragrance brands that need the picture to do more than show a face. Formerly Lead Photographer at Huda Beauty's global headquarters, with work for Sephora Middle East, Kayali, KIKO Milano and Bourjois, based in Dubai since 2012. The output is built for advertising, launch, and premium e-commerce, not just a catalogue row.

01 / Scope

WHAT I SHOOT

Campaign beauty with models. Skin, complexion and the retouch that keeps it real. Colour cosmetics and graphic makeup. Hair, from movement to finish. Fragrance and skincare on-model, where the hand or face sells the product. Macro detail on lips, eyes and texture. If it sits in the beauty space and the image has to look expensive, it is what I do. For cosmetics photography in Dubai, from launch campaigns to on-model product work, this is the core of what I do.

02 / Cosmetics

COSMETICS PHOTOGRAPHY IN DUBAI

Cosmetics photography is where colour accuracy decides whether an image works. A lipstick has to read as the exact shade on the shelf, a foundation has to match real skin, and every pan in a palette has to hold true under one light. Get that wrong and the image sells the wrong product.

I shoot colour cosmetics in Dubai for launches, campaigns and e-commerce: lips, eyes, complexion, swatches and texture, on-model and as product. Recent cosmetics work includes the KIKO Milano Ramadan campaign, Bourjois Paris Ramadan, Mikyajy Eye Expert and a run of Huda Beauty launches including Matte Obsessions and Lip Blush.

03 / Craft

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A HEADSHOT AND A CAMPAIGN

A headshot records a face. A campaign image gives it mood, light and intent. The gap between the two is casting, art direction, controlled light, and knowing how makeup and skin behave under it. Beauty is unforgiving. Colour has to be exact, skin has to stay natural, and the retouch has to be invisible. That is the craft, and it does not carry over from general portrait or product work on its own. I built mine on beauty.

06 / How a Shoot Runs

HOW A SHOOT RUNS

01

Brief and References

Brief and references first, so the look, casting and makeup direction are agreed before anything is lit.

02

Casting and Prep

Model, hair and makeup aligned to the concept, with styling and set prepared to match.

03

Shooting

Shooting to a locked art direction, with light and colour held consistent across the set.

04

Retouching

Retouching and compositing in-house, skin kept natural and colour kept true.

05

Delivery

Final delivery in the formats you need, with usage rights agreed up front. Clear on what a campaign needs versus a clean e-commerce set, and priced to match the work, not by the row.

07 / Delivery & Usage

DELIVERY AND USAGE

High-resolution files ready for print, campaign, social and e-commerce. Full commercial usage agreed at the start, no hidden licensing later. Turnaround set to the project.

08 / Also

PRODUCT AND STILL LIFE

Beauty rarely arrives without product beside it. I shoot fragrance, cosmetics and skincare still-life to the same campaign standard, so the model work and the packshots read as one set. See product photography in Dubai.

09 / Scale

FASTER VARIATIONS WHEN YOU NEED THEM

For teams producing at volume, I also offer AI-assisted production for backgrounds, colourways and campaign variations, built on the same shoot and art direction. It is an option for speed and scale, not a replacement for the photography. Ask if it fits your project.

10 / Questions

FREQUENTLY ASKED

DO YOU SHOOT BEAUTY CAMPAIGNS WITH MODELS IN DUBAI?Yes. Beauty campaigns with models are the core of my work, from casting, hair and makeup direction through to retouching, for cosmetics, skincare and fragrance brands based in Dubai and across the region.

DO YOU DO COSMETICS PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY AS WELL?Yes. I photograph lipsticks, palettes, foundations, swatches and texture to the same colour standard as the campaign work, so on-model images and packshots read as one set.

WHICH BEAUTY BRANDS HAVE YOU WORKED WITH?Huda Beauty, where I was Lead Photographer at the global headquarters, Sephora Middle East, Kayali, KIKO Milano, Bourjois Paris, Sunsilk, Mikyajy and Royal Fern, among others.

CAN AI BE USED ALONGSIDE THE SHOOT?Yes, as an option. I offer AI-assisted production for backgrounds, colourways and campaign variations, built on the real shoot and art direction, for teams that need more output at speed.

HOW IS A BEAUTY SHOOT PRICED?Every project is quoted to the brief, based on the number of final retouched images, models and looks, set and styling, and the usage the brand needs. Send the brief by email or WhatsApp for a quote.
